This gorgeous wedding took place in a shooting lodge in Perthshire called Persie House with a pre wedding party the night before at the gorgeous Fonab Castle. The bride is a food stylist and writer and the groom a published drinks writer so naturally the food and drinks were exceptional.

The Groom’s mother is Norwegian so the cake was a traditional homemade Norwegian wedding cake, and they also cut a lobster as they have a thing about them!

The family all stayed in the house the night before the wedding with some of the party getting up at first light to fish for trout on the loch outside.

The ceremony took place in a little chapel nearby with a beautiful little stream outside and the bride and guests donned their wellies for cocktails by the water.

After the first dance the couple decided to take to the water and go for a little row, they dropped one of the oars though so their guests assembled to have a little giggle watching them go round and round trying to grab it!

The bride wore a stunning Vivienne Westwood dress and the favours were lovely little personally branded whisky bottles from the MacAllan distillery where the brides Father works.
